PRESENTS---

In the SK Modified’s it was the #7 of Willie Hardie taking the lead at the drop of the green. On lap three though Hardie lost the lead to Lloyd Agor in the #22 machine.
As I was watching the battles throughout the field, I couldn’t help but wonder if the field was too racy/aggressive early on. But I have to give the SK’s credit for this, they were running better than the Late Models.
On lap five there was another change for the lead. This time taking the lead was the #3 of Jeff Malave. Following Malave was the #78 of Keith Rocco and the #13 of TC Ted Christopher. By lap nine those three started to walk away from the rest of the field. That didn’t mean that there were any battles within the top three. Rocco was doing all that he could to get around Malave. As the race went on the field finally started to settle down. Then on lap thirty four the first caution came out. After the caution Rocco was finally able to take the lead from Malave. Rocco went on to take down the win.
In the Late Models it was Rich Charette taking the lead early on. Behind him though the field was side by side. Showing a lot of strength at the drop the green was the #92 of Tom Fearn. By lap five the top six settled down. But the rest of the pack thought this was a shoot out and kept racing extremely hard. By lap nine the first of many cautions came out. At this point Charette was still leading; but right behind him was the #3 if Ryan Posocco. But it was difficult for anyone to challenge the lead because the caution flag kept flying. On a lap fourteen restart, the #90 of Corey Hutchings took the lead. But Hutchings wasn’t able to hold on to the lead because on lap sixteen Posocco took command of the field. After many more cautions Posocco went on to take down the win.
In the SK Lights it was Kyle Spencer in the Springfield Falcons Hockey #18 machine taking an early lead. Following him was the #10 of Heather DesRochers. But trying to take the lead was the #7 of Aaron Goff. But when the field came to the flag stand to complete the first lap the yellow flag flew. Taking the lead on the restart was DesRochers. But taking it from DesRochers was the #20 Michael Lane.
And just as a side note Heather was racing with a cast on her arm after a wreck two weeks ago in a heat race.
Showing some strength behind Lane, was of course the #23 of Alan Provost. But coming up and taking the lead unexpectedly was the #08 of Joe Allegro Jr. As Allegro settled into the lead, him and Provost started to pull away from the rest of the field. Once those two pulled away, Provost started to apply pressure to the leader. After a few caution flags it was Joe Allegro taking down the win.
In the Limited Late Models it was the # 29 of Rick Lanagan taking down the win.
Lastly winning in the D.A.R.E Stocks was Rob Lawrence in the #29 machine.
Don’t forget that next week it’s the Fall Final at Stafford. Friday is an open practice and Saturday and Sunday is racing.
